Alright--in some cases such as this one--I agree that it's okay to be
dishonest.
Does not rock your boat?
I have seen that called Lying for Jesus. The idea is that it is ok to
say anything at all as long as it brings someone to Jesus. Me, I think
that a religion that requires dishonesty is not worthwhile. And I am
told that Jesus hates liars. But if you think that a position on
evolution is more important than honesty, continue to lie and support
liars.
They are honest with their supporters and as you know--had to do it
the way they done it to comply with the prior rulings of courts. I know
the reason most evolutionists encouraged them to use the term "God"
in their book instead of "ID". If they had done that, they would
have lost the case. They may still lose the case.
I think you need to actual read the court decisions rather than either
make things up or pass on lies. The courts quite clearly did not
object to the use of the name "God", the court objected to the *ideas*
and the *intent*. Changing the name serves only to hide the intent, it
does not change it.
I have no problem with what they done. God is an intelligent designer
and I doubt that he is offended when people refer to him as an
intelligent designer.
I have no idea if you are deliberately getting this wrong or if you
seriously don't understand. It is wrong to use the government to
promote religious ideas. It does not change the ideas if you change
the name from "God" to "ID". You seem to think that it is moral to lie
about the purpose of an act in order to get the act accepted.
