I haven't seen any discrimination towards xians. Atheists, on the other
hand, are discriminated against more than just about anybody today. They're
one of the few groups that it's ok to discriminate against. Could you cite
some examples of christians being discriminated against?
The American Criminal Liberties Union (ACLU) constantly litigates

Here is one example --
Do you understand the difference between "teaching about" and
"promoting?" Promoting says "Islam is better than Christianity" or
vice versa. Teaching about is:
... teaching the history and traditions
of the Islam religion.
You left out the part about "mandatory". The ACLU would have a
conniption fit if a public school taught a mandatory course in
Christianity.

Did the ACLU refuse to represent any compainants in the example

But that said, I've heard the claim that prayer was solicited.
If it were true, which I might believe if any of the teachers
were actually *Muslim*, this would be a genuine violation.
Of course there are some Christians who would be offended if their
children were taught a straightforward history of religion that included
a comparison of teachings of different Christian denominations. They
prefer to teach their children what they want their children to learn
about other denominations and religions, not what the other
denominations and religions actually teach.

anybody of the "truth" of your case?
It's true.
It's a lie.
Just read the newspapers on a regular basis.
Just find any private church in the US, recognize that they're full
of Christian symbols. Notice the absence of ACLU lawsuits.
They even went

The above claim that Christians don't get discriminated against, has
been refuted.
The fact that you are a liar or delusional has been demonstrated.
There was a flap in San Jose CA when the city which has a large
Hispanic population erected a statue of QuetzalCotl. The local
religious loonies objected.
Missing the point that this would be no different than eg the Venus de
Milo.
Christians use statuary and other things to push their religion, and
the result as "proof by authority" for their religion. They won't let
it be seen as a cultural phenomenon in the same light as other
cultural phenomena.
And liars like the Kozel and the ACLJ (which reflects its founder
that well-known liar for god Pat Robertson) pretend that other
religions are "promoted" in the way they promote Christanity - and in
the next breath pretend that they don't promote Christianity.
They can't have it both ways.

*****. There's a cross on top of several churches in my
neighborhood right now. Oddly, though the ACLU is aware that this
type of thing is common across the US, they do not litigate
against them. And when they do bring establishment clause cases
against government promoted religion, the Plaintif is a Christian
of one flavor or another more often than not.
That said, I've heard of several real cases of official
discrimination against Christians in the US. When not perpetrated
on behalf of some other sect of Christianity, they have almost
almost exclusively been the result of a ***** understanding of
the establishment clause. By people who think the ACLU will sue
them if they let a kid read a Bible at lunch time.

Unelected, largely invisible, a secret society of lawyer-gangsters has
waged a merciless war against America.
Let us look at what the ACLU, in its devious machinations, has done just
recently.
The police in California enjoyed a unique protection for about 17
years. A law, passed in 1982, allowed them to sue citizens who file
false complaints against them. I like that law because most of the
complaints against the police — most, not all — that I have followed are
by paid activists who work for criminal enterprises and criminal
businesses, seeking to throw out cases against drug dealers and their
ilk. Of course, there are also those on the looney left who sue cops
for a living. But now the ACLU has struck this law down.
At the bidding of the ACLU, the Superior Court of San Francisco ruled
against this law protecting the police from frivolous and malicious
suits. Again we see that the courts in San Francisco are not so
superior after all. In fact, they are more like a clown act. Watching
their antics is like watching the apes at the zoo mimic each other.
There's no mistaking it; this is what the courts of San Francisco have
become.
Some misguided souls think that the ACLU is there to protect freedom of
speech and the Constitution. But I tell you that the only constitution
the ACLU has ever protected is that of the ex-USSR. Anything that falls
outside their leftopathic agenda is, as far as they're concerned, also
outside the protection of "freedom of speech" and the US Constitution.
The founding fathers, in their infinite wisdom, crafted the greatest
document for Mankind's liberation in the history of the world; it's
called the Constitution of the United States of America. The ACLU has
tried to rip this hallowed document to pieces a thousand different ways
and a thousand different times. But, whenever it suits them, they wrap
themselves in the Constitution and the flag.
But does anyone really think it's the ACLU that keeps people like me
from being thrown in jail, as might happen in China, for speaking out
like this? Anyone with any sense knows the ACLU would bring China right
into our very homes if we would let them. And they would jump for joy
to see people like me put away for good. That's how dedicated they are
to liberty and justice.
In California, the people voted via popular initiative to turn back the
invasion from Mexico and China': to stop giving education and medicine
to illegal aliens.
The ACLU shopped this popular state initiative to a radical, left wing
federal judge, Maryann Pfaelzer, and managed to trash the votes of
nearly 6 million Californians, condemning our public schools and health
care systems to a third-world existence.
Mark Rosenbaum, the capo of the ACLU, actually celebrated this blow
against the people!
So who are these ACLU fiends? If we focus on them as individuals, we
find most were brought up in dysfunctional homes, by commie parents, and
attended commie camps in the summer. They're a psychotic bunch of
red-diaper-doper babies who were suckled on Karl Marx. Many are non
compos mentis and survive on medication, yet they are quite affluent due
to the enormous settlements they extort with bogus lawsuits while they
pose as champions of the downtrodden!
The truth is that they are beasts of prey living off the downtrodden,
and are responsible for much of the lack of justice in our society and
for the perpetuation of our social problems.
America cries out for a strong leader to arise, dis-band, de-fund and
de-port these lawyer-gangsters before we all end up in a new,

The ACLU does not strike laws down. It asks the courts to enforce our
civil liberties.
There's no mistaking it; this is what the courts of San Francisco have
become.
Well, these cases always start somewhere. I think that the false
complaint law is a close thing, but not nearly as absurd as Savage
paints it.
Yes, the first amendment is a primary focus of the ACLU. The NRA focuses
on the second amendment. So?
The founding fathers, in their infinite wisdom, crafted the greatest
document for Mankind's liberation in the history of the world; it's
called the Constitution of the United States of America. The ACLU has
tried to rip this hallowed document to pieces a thousand different ways
and a thousand different times. But, whenever it suits them, they wrap
themselves in the Constitution and the flag.
The courts decide what the Constitution means. Savage claims to be
ripping the ACLU but he is really attacking our court system.
What nonsense, he dishonestly misrepresents what the ACLU goes to court
over. If someone were stepping over Savage's first amendment rights, he
would turn to the ACLU just as the Nazis did in Skokie.
In California, the people voted via popular initiative to turn back the
invasion from Mexico and China': to stop giving education and medicine
to illegal aliens.
Another close choice.
The ACLU shopped this popular state initiative to a radical, left wing
federal judge, Maryann Pfaelzer, and managed to trash the votes of
nearly 6 million Californians, condemning our public schools and health
care systems to a third-world existence.
Again, the decision of the trial court in a constitutional question is
always the first step and is never controlling by itself. Let's not
forget that the Republicans in California have not controlled anything
there since they 'won' that initiative.
Mark Rosenbaum, the capo of the ACLU, actually celebrated this blow
against the people!
So who are these ACLU fiends? If we focus on them as individuals, we

to the enormous settlements they extort with bogus lawsuits while they
pose as champions of the downtrodden!
Even if they did have troublesome childhoods, the _courts_ decide what
is constitutional, not the ACLU. Apparently Savage is too ignorant of
the way American government works to pass a citizenship test.
The truth is that they are beasts of prey living off the downtrodden,
and are responsible for much of the lack of justice in our society and
for the perpetuation of our social problems.
This claim comes from nothing else in the article.
America cries out for a strong leader to arise, dis-band, de-fund and
de-port these lawyer-gangsters before we all end up in a new,
Rwanda-like reality.
Wow, Savage wants fascism. That didn't exactly come out of left field. I
wonder if he is he happy with Ashcroft?
[end of article]
Wasn't Savage the guy who just got canned by MSNBC?
He is a silly man, though the fact that anyone reads his bilge is
disgusting.

At some point in the past, David Jensen <david@dajensen-family.com>
slavered, and posted this:
Wow, Savage wants fascism. That didn't exactly come out of left
field. I wonder if he is he happy with Ashcroft?
Wasn't Savage the guy who just got canned by MSNBC?
He is a silly man, though the fact that anyone reads his bilge is
disgusting.
Yup, he is the same. Micheal Savage is the hate-mongering bigot who
"referred to a caller as a 'sodomite.' He went on to say, 'You should only
get AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) and die, you pig. How's
that?...You got nothing better than to put me down, you piece of garbage.
You have got nothing to do today. Go eat a sausage and choke on it.'
(Charles Cooper, http://rss.com.com/2010-1071_3-1024777.html)
He also has "been variously quoted calling gays and lesbians 'perverts' ...
Asians 'little soy eaters,' and [has said] immigrants are from 'Turd World'
nations on his nationally broadcast radio program." (ibid)
I'll defend his right to say what he wants; I don't have to like it. But
how any hate-filled bigot like that gets hired to a talk show in the first
place is beyond me.

There, I fixed it for you.
You edited my post and you lied. The ACLU doesn't care about the
Constitution, nor do they care about litigating against any other
religion, making the ACLU hypocrites.
YOU lied. The ACLU supports indivual liberties including those of the
religious.
The ACLU supports individual liberties for those who they consider to be
politically correct; otherwise they won't lift a finger.
If you mean that they won't litigate to save the fortunes of some fat rich white
guy Evangelist preacher when he gets in a tax jam, you're entirely right. They go to
bat for those who *aren't* powerful, and to take cases of substantial Constitutional
import that would go unlitigated if it were left up to those who can afford to sue.

That is called "window dressing", just so that the ACLU can dispute the
question that RJ asked. There are many orders of magnitude more times
that the ACLU has attacked Christians.

Ruling that your religion doesn't have the right to impose its will on
those who choose to not accept its assertions (which is what this is
all about) isn't "silly", it's "right", "proper", "legal" and "just".

In other words, don't confuse you with the facts, your mind is

There are many orders of magnitude more times

I've never seen the ACLU attack a Christian who wasn't wielding
government authority against someone else.
