It holds oceans. US71 is not a controversial number. 666 is. Using the
renumbering to gain attention to the dreadful condition of the road --
needed widening, geometric changes, etc. -- is simply politics. Not a
Christian plot.

US 666 is not a controversial number to the millions of non-christians in
this country. The only group who feels threatened by such a benign thing as
a number are the fundies. Therefore, this is a christian plot, if you will.

Your logic fails, as your conclusion doesn't logically flow from your
premises. "Therefore this is a Christian plot?" Evidence?

I posted links to the evidence, earlier in this thread.

Ummm..... no you didn't. You posted links to two news articles -- one
from Reuters and one an AP story that ran in my competing paper here
in Denver, both of which were about the dedication ceremonby. Nowhere
in ANY of the numerous stories run on the 666 change is there any hint
of evidence that this was pushed on the states by fundamentalists.
You have failed again to provide evidence that would bolster your
claim? Care to try for real this time? Is there any evidence of
involvement in this by any fundamentalists or such organizations? I
have covered this for months and haven't found any. Were there any
groups lobbying for the change? Hey, if there are any I'd like to
know.

Um, yes I did. You just failed to read the information I provided.

Ummm, who the ***** are you and when did you post anything? I wasn't
talking to you, unless this is another screen name by Harry Sachz. If
so, I did read what Sachz linked to and as I report elsewhere, it had
no evidence of a plot, as I requested him to demonstrate.

You are correct. Don't forget to bring a towel!

It's funny how you fundies refuse to believe something when the evidence is
right in front of you in black and white, but you believe your insane
mythology is the unwavering truth when there is absolutely no evidence
whatsoever that any of it could possibly be true.
