Don't be surprised if the current problems stir up a racial
resentment that many had thought was a thing of the past.

You're only about a week late. This one
has already been beat to death.

Did I hit a raw born again Christian racist nerve?

Are you embarrassed at the way God's President, George W. Bush, managed to
show how in tune with reality he and his god is, by grandstanding over the
late Terri Schiavo, and now with the avoidable slaughter of blacks in the
deep south of the US?

And where, as your intolerant judgement and indictment proclaimed wihtout
facts in evidence, did Bush ever express these things with specificity
and particularity? That sounds like something a mere racist and
Christophbe would say.
The situation in New Orleans as well as Mississippi and Alabama is a
tragedy, but that lays at the hands of the Mayor, parish offiials and
Governor especially in New Orleans, a city below sea level in a hurricane
zone. Our prayers, water, food, police voluteers and military in on the
way to the refugees who all knew the risks they had accepted and are
suffering at the hands of a local government that apparently only had a
plan that if it happens,
hopefully someone else will save us, for we are not going to waste any
time or resources preparing ourselves.
How incompetent is a Mayor and city government who orders a 'mandatory
evacuation' knowing full well that transportation is required for at least
100,000 citizens to a place of safety, but failed to provide it? Where
was the call (which would have been answered) for busses to take the poor,
the infirm and ill from the city when the 'mandatory' evacuation was
ordered? Words are cheap, where was the plan? Valuable time was
squandered by the failure of the city to execute any plan. It is not
every Americans duty to oversee and mandate that the Mayor of New Orleans
do his job, we assumed that he had, and are surprised to find that he
really didn't care before hand. But notwithstanding that, Christian
America, upon realizing that the Mayor effectively was incompetent, are
there now to help the people the lack of the city's plan sentenced to
conditions of manslaughter. The blood in on the Mayor's hands, as well as
the governor's and other state and parish officials.
How incompetent is a Mayor and city government who says come to the
Superdome without stockrooms of food and water and portajohns for even a
day knowing full well that elecctricity and plumbing may well fail and the
city could well likely become isolated as an island for many days? Where
was the plan? It is not evident. The only plan evident is we are nor
were ever prepared and are defensless victems, send help.
If you want to see incompetenance, pride, contempt and hatred, and clear
evidence of potential intentional manslaughter by starvation, hydration,
and insanitary conditions due specifically and particularly by a lack of
a plan for a known possibility of the good and suffering people of New
Orleans, look no further than the Mayor and Governor's office and direct
your hatred toward them who created the situation for manslaughter by
their own incompetence rather than spitting on people like Christians who have
compassion in the suffering of people who placed their faith in the
government of man, and not God and have provided direct support for those
who's faith was poorly placed.

Me thinks you doth protest too much.

Me thinks that your indictment of racism and Christiphobia is racist and
Christopbic.

Exactly. It's really too bad that the mainstream media in this
country can't put two and two together. On CNN Saturady, they
showed that the National Hurricane Center was 'predicting' a
probable direct hit on New Orleans on Friday, the 26th of August.
Why did the mayor wait until Sunday to order evacuation?
Here in the US, we have been so indoctrinated by the mainstream
media to rely on the government for everything. That is not the
principle that this nation was founded upon. Most of these people
who are still trapped in New Orleans were only doing what they
had been 'taught' for the last 30 or so years, relying on the
government to provide their daily sustenance, and relying on the
government to think and provide for their safety. What ever
happened to the ability of one to think and react on his or her
own survival? This debacle in New Orleans is exactly what can and
may happen in any big city in this country. It doesn't matter
who, how or what, God created man with a survival instinct and He
also made man with a brain to use. Keeping myself alive is not
the responsibility of local, state or federal government. It is
mine, and in America, it is my right.
My heart, my thoughts, and my prayers go out to the victims and
all of the volunteers in all areas devastated by this tragedy.
May God heal, protect, and bring His great comfort to all who are
involved in this ordeal.
