That's an awful lot of payoffs, CB.

I said "greer".
Nevertheless, Terri has never been represented in court.
Only her scumbag husband has been represented.

Yep- Terri cannot speak for herself, so the idiots lording it over her
sentenced her to die a slow, tortuous death.

I cannot think of anything disgusting enough to call those loathsome
swine.

And you call this showing Christian love Elaine?

I do not care to see Terri die either. I do not care to see anyone
die. But in my opinion, the courts, congress, even the president
should have stayed out of this. This is between Terri and her husband.
She married him, and they became one. He claims she does not want to
be kept alive that way. We have no way of knowing this for sure, since
there is no living will. But he is her husband. And no matter how much
of a lowlife you think he is, and no matter how wrong you think he is,
that will not change. He is the one that will have to answer for this
when he stands in front of the judgment throne. All we can do is pray
to God, that HIS will, will be done.

I think that answered it Larry, no living will! Her husband is openly
living in sin for his pleasure, why do you think he'd not put her down
for his pleasure?
ujb

yes no living will, but that doesn't mean she did not say it to him.
Truth is, we don't know.

So why not just kill her, right?

The truth is --PROVEN IN A COURT OF LAW-- that Terri's wishes were to not be
kept on a tube. Not only did her husband testify to thie --IN A COURT OF LAW--
but several of her friends DID ALSO.

I don't think "proven" in some final iron-clad sense, but certainly as
well as can be determined based on what evidence is available.

(of course, CB contends that the judges all up and down the line have
ignored anything to the contrary because they don't "want to offend greer".
Pretty hard to argue with someone who's willing to make that kind of
stretch)

Please try to keep up.
You've been listening to dan blather type news.

Be that as it may, I have to wonder: if it could be shown beyond any
kind of doubt whatsoever that pulling the tube was expressly
what Terri wished...would CB acceded that this is the correct thing
to do, or would CB (and others here) insist that she continue receiving
food and water in violation of her express wishes?

Really? I have?
And here we see yet another made-to-order CB "fact".
The actual truth, as opposed to this "fact", is that I wouldn't even
know if Dan Rather is still on television, given that I almost
never turn it on, and that I get my news from reading, and not
from television.
So: please offer me your news source that led you to conclude that
there's a vast judicial conspiracy, from the local level to the
Supreme Court, to support Judge Greer.
