right now we're checking local papers for obits for one Douglas Dressler,
believed to have stayed in Menlo Park, CA.
I didn't trace that name myself. someone with more time on their hands did

apparently Douglas aka spitfire has an interest in

i had a brief look at his web site. not much there but a few sketches of
locomotives.
maybe he was working for Amtrak..
