He was the guy who came up with the idea of Evolution, of course it was
not perfect the first time. But essentially he is right.

No, he wasn't. It was observed several generations earlier. His wasn't
even the first theory to explain it, just the first scientifically
derived one.

Thanks Christopher for the correction.
Anaximander first hypothisised evolution around 500 BC. Aristotle was
mentioning it about the same time. I beleive John Ray was the first to
develop a scientific theory of evolution about 1650.
My previous post was just a not well thought out response to Komin's
not completely right statement. Well it is true that Darwin was not
completely right, which can be said about any emerging science.
Evolution on the whole is accurate, so it can be said that Darwin was
right.
