No: And since Judaism didn't originate in Arabia, only
Islam and Christianity did: Christianity is a form of
Judaism (one doesn't have a Messiah, the other one
doesn't have all the dietary restrictions), and Islam
is a hodgepodge of both of them.
Please tell me from where Judaism originated?I hope not in India or
China?zimbabwe??southafrica?or maybe even Egypt?
See my comments below. I am not a historian, nor is my
field comparative religion (obviously). You can research
the matter in the Encyclopaedia Britannica or in the Internet
yourself... if you are serious about gaining knowledge (and
are not just another happy-go-lucky fellow like me).
My comments are generally good enough, though: Judaism
stems from some tribal beliefs held by associated cultures
of the "fertile valley" in modern day Iraq. (Even the Bible
specifically says Abraham came from Ur, or lived around there.)
Every tribe had its own God, and if it was a well-connected
tribe then it had a God that was more important than the
gods of the other tribes around them (just like the Athenians
worshipped Athena as "their" god but "respected" all the
other Greek gods). At some point the Hebrews made the
decision that they would only worship Jehovah and no other
god. And the Bible hints strongly that this critical moment
is when Moses comes down from the mountain and finds
the Hebrews worshipping The Golden Calf. Moses got pissed
to beat the band and killed a whole bunch of the sonsabitches
(love the scene in The 10 Commandments when Heston
throws the tablets at the idol and all Hell breaks loose).
Certainly after Joshua Judaism is pretty much written in stone
(love this pun). See my original post at the end of this one...
Judaism certainly was not the first "religion" in the area
that was monotheistic. And we can very confidently say that
Abraham was not sitting around one day when God, who was
staying at a hotel nearby, said: "Howdy, I am that God who
created the universe 4,000 years ago. And I like you, Abe.
So I'm going to do you a good turn..." (The rest being history,
maybe.) Actually, the specific "Palestinian" lands were actually
"given" to the Hebrews that came out of Egypt with Moses...
These lands were not vacant, but God told Joshua that genocide
was all right by Him: Does not the male lion kill the lioness'
mate and their children, so that the lioness come into heat
again and mate with him? Well, men are no better than lions
in the eyes of God, apparently, so He told the Hebrews to kill
the men and children of the "ancient Palestine" and to then
marry their widows--Although those women had their revenge
because now the tradition is that one is Jewish only if one's
mother was Jewish, not the father.) A lot of people love to
style their nations "the lion" of this or that. Now U know Y.
But all religion is baloney (or stinky cheese, one of those).
Human beings should behave themselves for the same reason
children learn to behave themselves... because if they don't
they're gonna get slapped up the side of the head by their
Momma Earth. Let's try to learn that lesson, people! Even if
it does take some mules more tugs at the rope to learn they're
tied.

Did all religions generated in arabia?judaism, christianity and Islam?
No: And since Judaism didn't originate in Arabia, only
Islam and Christianity did: Christianity is a form of
Judaism (one doesn't have a Messiah, the other one
doesn't have all the dietary restrictions), and Islam
is a hodgepodge of both of them.
does
this imply something to you all?
Yes: There is nothing new under the Sun (the Greeks
knew that long ago, as they had plenty of Sun and
nothing more, so they became pirates & plundered
everybody else). However, it implies nothing: Judaism
(really at least two merged religions and gods, a singular
Jehovah and a plural Elohim) was not the first "monotheistic"
religions in that area:
START QUOTE
Zoroastrianism (Mazdaism) was adapted from an earlier
polytheistic faith by Zarathushtra (Zoroaster) in
Persia between 1400 and 1200 BC (although, in the lack
of written records, some scholars estimate as late as
600 BC). Zoroastrianism combines elements of
monotheism and dualism. Some modern scholars believe
that Zoroastrianism had a large influence on Judaism
and Manichaeism.
END QUOTE
Obviously Judaism is a monotheistic religion because
of influences like those above (as well as the early
Greek philosophers... Jews were at many point the
greatest fans of Greek culture in the middle east).
The seminal "birth" of Judaism is probably Abraham's
sacrifice of his son to God. At this point God appears
and tells Abraham He doesn't have to sacrifice human
beings to Him. (This in a world where human sacrifice,
especially of children, was widespread. Even during
the Punic wars the Phoenicians sacrificed huge numbers
of their children but Rome still destroyed them all.)
It is curious that even though Islam purports to draw
its justification from Abraham (his monotheism), that
there is a culture of bloody sacrifice to Allah (where
Muslims believe that Allah actually rewards the murder
of human beings). But this is, of course, from the
perspective of a "Christian" for whom human sacrifice
in the context of pleasing God is pretty nearly as
close to being a disgusting perversion as it can be
imagined to be. (Other Christians may disagree, and
believe that Jesus looks with favor upon human
sacrifice if it's for the sake of the popular cause
du jour: And many military ceremonies in the West have
a rather distatefully religious bent to them). I much
prefer that soldiers butcher each other for the sake
of personal/national pride. But that's just me. In any
case...
The Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton seemed to have either
been monotheistic or leaning that way, because he
tried to get rid of most of the old gods and
encouraged the worship of a single one of them (namely
The Sun). Did it last long? All you have to do is ask
yourself: Who is the greatest giver of the law of the
one god to the Jews? Moses. And we must clearly say
that Moses was an Egyptian (even if there is the old
"story" of his "really" being a Hebrew slave). And, of
course, the Old Testament (Exodus) was "assembled"
during the so-called Babylonian enslavement (who
knows what influenced the Hebrew scholars who were
writing their people's "history" ... but if it's
anything like "American culture" has influenced
American Jews then "them guys" were more Babylonian
than Hebrews).
Of course, there are few religions that are truly
monotheistic, Jews and Christians believe in angels
and super humans (messiahs and saints), and Muslims
believe in divine prophets and meteors and other
lunatics just like everybody else. And everybody, Jew,
Christian, or Muslims obviously believe in "the evil
eye," "curses," "ghosts," golden grasshoppers and
knocks on wood. Well, at least, we all believe in
Dollar the Almighty.
But certainly don't believe that just because "we" are
always talking about Jews, Christians, and Muslims
that there are no other "great" religions in the
world!
how old are they?and how old are the human
race on planet earth?
Well, when science says one particular species of
ancient men lived a 100,000 years ago and another
(from which they descended) lived a million years ago
they don't mean that one vanished and the next one
popped into existence there & then: Life is going on
3,500,000,000 years now on Planet Earth, more or
less. And the process of evolution is like watching a
mountain melting into a valley (you'd only notice it
was happening if you took pictures of the same scene
once every 100,000 years or so).
It's pretty much accepted that "modern man" invaded
Europe from Africa some 50,000 years ago (with his
dog). At which point the Neanderthals who had been
living there "mysteriously" and conveniently decided
to vanish. Cro-Magnon man (that's us) was probably
an innocent bystander or, at the most, only following
legal orders when they organized into more disciplined
armies... as all of you who know yourselves know.
Some say 40,000... I say 50,000 (sounds better):
However, you take a "man" who lived 50,000 years ago.
Put him in a suit. And it'd be hard to pick him out
of a modern day crowd (this trick may no longer work
with a "man" who lived 150,000 years ago... this guy
may create a riot). Neanderthal was such a brute, and
(wouldn't you know it) there are Neanderthal genes in
many of today's Europeans (so apparently prison abuse
was popular among Cro-Magnons even back then).
But we are that Cro-Magnon "animal" who lived 50,000
years ago. Exactly that "animal." The difference is 50,000
years of so-called civilization... and the hard lessons all
those 50,000 years have taught most of us: But we are
all of us that "ancient animal" (wanting to take the
biggest slice of the cake, to throw our weight/muscles
around, and to bully the weaker among us). Stopped
from doing so now mostly because so-called "civilized
people" would think badly of such behavior... and not
hire us, or kiss us.
There is this superstition abroad that such brutes are
always hiding among the "less civilized" (usually by a
few decades or millennia). But look again: 50,000
years (a couple of hundred years up or down ain't
gonna make anybody here or there so much more
civilized that he/she isn't gonna lose it given the
right circumstances... and behave like that 50,000
years ago brute we still all are). That number
(50,000) should tell you that we are all, all of us
everywhere in this world where you find people...
capable of the same kind of ancient savageness and
brutality that was the norm 50,000 years ago (when
we all had to struggle for every carcass, including
our dogs--which is why we find them so "human").
And there will certainly always be plenty of modern
day "animals" who just seem to chuck all the restrains
of civilization (yes, even Americans and Europeans).
And then the best one can do is hope & prey they don't
move next door to you... especially in Trenton, N.J.
