Take your what would Jesus do and shove it up your leftist *****,
you could care less what Jesus did.
You had better give your soul to Jesus, because on November 8th
your losing ***** belongs to us for two more years.
wdstarr asked:
What *are* you?
tnbracing replied:
According to the bible I am right.
Agnostic, but in a good way I believe there is a creator though not in
religion per se, even if you are a complete non believer that does not
mean you can not read a bible.
I had the same question as read the post, and have a comment to the
explanation. I have always voted the direction of smaller, less intrusive
government. All other issues combined are less important to me. The
Republican Party has always been the best proponent of this, so they have
received my support despite the association with a God that I believe
doesn't exist. The platform positions supported by religion can be defended
simply on the grounds of being natural to human existence.. With the numbers
of non-believers growing rapidly: I feel it is a disservice to the GOP to
perpetuate the association between them, or to be so critical of the
believers among them. The important things are to vote, and let others know
what you support.
I recently sent this to the national GOP chairman; sent also to the state
Chairman, & even received a reply...

Subject: Party direction
I have always considered myself aligned with the basic political views of
the GOP, and have voted that way. I am however becoming more and more
discouraged with the direction of the party. I voted for the current
administration, and I can imagine how worse off we would all be if the
events of the last five years occurred under different leadership. One big
disappointment though; was the creation of a whole new bureaucracy of
another department when the existing department could have been designated
better authority to accomplish the same goals. That decision was one I would
have expected from the "other party".
More than ever the separation of government from religion has become an
important issue for me, and we are the party most guilty of the infractions
blurring the line. I am supporting any group I find with the separation
mission as their goal; as long as it can be supported without a larger, more
intrusive government.
A little about myself: 48 y.o. white male, married, 5 children, 1 household
income. Skilled labor with a large privately held company.

Proponent, maybe, but why is government larger now, after 6 years of
total Republican rule, than it's ever been before?
They may propose it, but what they actually implement is larger and
more intrusive government.
