think about the way modern people speak. we have many sayings,
expressions etc that don't make logical sense, or they have a buried,
contextualized meaning, but we understand because we know the lingo...
this is why any foreign language is so hard. we must not only learn
the idioms, but the cultural contexts of phraseology.
the key to understanding the ancient cultures of the holy land is
largely lost to us today. much of our modern interpretation will be
conjecture.
conclusion:
there is no way, even if we accept god's authorship of the bible
(which is obviously not the case...) we cannot ever know what his word
was, or what it intended 100%

Then we Christians need to do alot of soul searching to sort out all the
rubbish out of our lives and sort out all the disagreements that we have
with each other.
Note Jesus said we have to believe, and the greek meaning of the word
believe means to Trust In Rely On Jesus. Also we have to remember that it
is
Jesus that is doing it not us. Jesus uses us as vesles.
