Oh my. Death threats over the Internet. Pardon me if I don't shake in my
boots. Be careful, my sweet, I mean I realize you're probably what,
fifteen? But still, this kind of stuff does get taken seriously and you
could find the police rapping on your door. Certainly not something to lose
your junior prom ticket over, now is it?
By the way, does Sister/Mommy know you use her computer when she's

What's strange now is that my ankle has been making "crunching" sounds and

my Demonia platforms with the skull and crossbones on the top ;)
Oh!
My daughter refers to them as my "devil shoes". She might be right; I
twisted the ***** out of my ankle while I was wearing them tonight
(watching
cat in living room and missed a step on the stairs - D'oh!) ;)
Oh no. It was the cat's fault! Always blame the cat.
And she's a black cat as well!
<chuckle> No, not her fault that she looked so cute curled up on the
couch
that I didn't pay attention to where I was going while walking down the
stairs.
What's strange now is that my ankle has been making "crunching" sounds
and
that's a bit disturbing. Can't wait to wake up tomorrow and see what it
feels like :(
Erm... maybe you should see a doctor?
It's actually not so bad. Hurt like a ***** when I got up this morning.
Thought the smart idea would be to wear shoes with an extremely low heel,
but it really hurt to walk. Put on the demonic shoes and voila! Barely
hurts at all. How bizarre ;)
There you go using those sex words again.

My ankles make noises all the time. Some people hear voices in their
heads I have ankles that crunch at me all day. Turned them so many
times. These days I just keep on doing whatever it was I was doing.
Pain subsides and everything goes back to normal fairly quickly. I am
not a doctor, though I sometimes play one, but it has been my personal
experience that unless it is broken the best thing I have found to do
is just keep going. Clears up faster and gives me a good reason to
just forget about the pain.

It really isn't so bad. Just a little swollen and a bit bruised-looking. My
main concern is that this is the ankle I broke 20-something years ago
(drunken game of Frisbee at night in a lit basketball court), where I also
chipped off the end of my fibula, which is now stuck on my ankle-bone (long
story short - never went to the doctor and just keep ankle wrapped in Ace
bandage for 6+ weeks). I was afraid I might have jarred something loose ;)

Ah, age. Lovely thing ain't it?
When I was about seven, lived in a house that was built on this *huge hill
that had been "terraced" is it were. Nice, steep slope from the yard
behind into ours. I slipped coming home from school and talk about a major
sprain it was.
Anywho, a couple of years ago, I started having trouble out of the same
ankle. Couldn't figure out why as I hadn't injured it. At least, not in
the previous thirty odd years...

Yes, those things will come back to haunt you. I dislocated my thumb in
college and it didn't start bothering me until three years ago. I've got
friggin arthitis in it now. My doctor said that a bad sprain is often worse
than a break when it comes to causing you problems down the road. How
bizarre :P

I dated a physical therapist a while ago and she said I have small
bone chips floating around. Every once in a while I wake up and one
of my ankles will be kind of stuck and hurting quite nicely. A little
massage and it goes away. Still I have to jump out of those black
helicopters to keep the alien abduction thing going.
