Please post the name of the school and *any* teacher who has 'taught'
atheism as a classroom 'course'.
Insisting atheism is a religion here when it is clearly *not* shows your
obstinate ignorance in full public view.
Please point to the deity or any other form of supernatural entity we
atheists worship and adore. If you can't, you've helped to reiterate the
point that atheism is *not* a religion.
Why do you Jesus/God people want to brand atheism a 'religion' for Pete's
sakes?! What is it about atheism *not* being a religion that troubles you
brainwashed, mentally diseased people so?

Atheism is a belief just like theism is a belief. Everyone must have a
belief in searching of the truth. No one has to have a religion to
justify their belief. Belief is necessary in order to know the truth.
Religion is not. In today's world, religion is an obstacle to know the
truth.

I agree that there are atheists who don't really know what they are
talking about in terms of the knowledge of Truth or the existence of
God. They not only lack the belief in God, they also lack the
knowledge in Truth. They are what I call the willful blind. I don't
think they know what Atheism is really about.

Nope.
Atheism is the state of lacking belief in any deities. That's it. End of

Mr. Heywood has repeatedly shown that he is pathogically incapable of
writing a single sentence that is not an outright fraudulent lie.

Atheism is "taught about" in the public schools just like religion is
"taught about" in the public schools. In order for one to become educated

to become an indoctrinated believer or non-believer in either.

Greywolf
Atheism is a belief just like theism is a belief. Everyone must have a
belief in searching of the truth. No one has to have a religion to
justify their belief. Belief is necessary in order to know the truth.
Religion is not. In today's world, religion is an obstacle to know the
truth.
Again, I did not say that atheism is a belief. You said that it is.
Thank you for not saying that atheism is a belief. I mean it.

Please read for comprehension and see the first sentence where I said
atheism is not a religion and it is not taught in the public schools.
It appears that you have shown your inability to read for comprehension
to be exposed to public view.

I'd like for you to spend just one month under the very same *exact*
conditions I am enduring out here at the hands of decidedly immoral
Christians and just see how well *your* comprehension skills hold up. You
wouldn't last long, I'd bet. And forget about posting error-free posts. And
this is my *3rd* winter of this stuff!
I messed up. I was in error. I now admit that.
What *is* your point?
But even more: Why don't you address each of the statements I made one at a
time. What I mean by that, is give us *your* personal 'take' on what I've
posted.
Also look at the 'header'. What was going on in your head when you decided
to 'reply' to this 'message'?

What does all this atheism vs. bible banging have to do with the
astronomy groups anyway?

I have no idea whatever it might have to do with the asronomy groups.
The originator of this thread, Borked Psuedo Mailed
<nobody@pseudo.borked.net>, cross-posted also to the astronomy groups.
Flame him if you want, but please leave me alone. I can't stand for
being scorched by you star gazer types because you all have a long tube
with lenses that you use for looking through to search for weird things,
just like my proctocologist.
