It does appear as though everything needs a cause, yet that doesn't allow for
a beginning. The origin of everything is therefore outside our current knowledge.

Or not everything needs to be caused. Since we KNOW that this is
true, it's a lot more reasonable to presume that the Big Bang is
uncaused than that some uncaused thing was needed to cause the BB.
