Why does Carol behave as she does?
Many former and disgruntled JW's family
members will INDICATE that JW's
and/or the WTBTS are wrong or at fault no matter the topic, the
proof, or the evidence. As with Carol and other anti-jw's already "know"
the
reality, and do nothing but work backwards from said private reality
with respect to a given WTBTS/JW
related matter, presenting anything and everything even remotely
closely apparently confirming their a priori conviction as "proof"
that they were "right all along". A good example is ant-jw's fetish
for reposting "excerpts" of articles which simply declare that one
or more wrong/evil-doers "is"/"are" Jehovah's Witnesses, with ZERO
proof/evidence that said alleged wrong/evil-doers actually make
any attempt at all to live the alleged godly principles allegedly
embodied in the teaching(s) of the WTBTS. One may as well post
an excerpt of an article that says, "four teenages girls - who are
*WHITE* - were caught stealing Eminem CD's from Tower Records", in
hopes of convincing the audience that said excerpt "proves" something
about "whiteness". What does the "Jehovah's Witness" label mean,
if there's no proof/evidence that those it's applied to in one of
these "excerpts" is anything more than a JW in name/label only?
Do we look at someone that tries to run 26 miles right off the bat,
with no training, and keels over, and say, "See? Now we KNOW that
runners are screwed up!" No, we don't. Or shouldn't. But that's
the kind of currency that the Carol's and PB's
of the newsgroup deal in.

(Proverbs 21:2) I am reminded of some other scriptures as well (Zechariah
8:23 and to understand what that means for Christians read Romans 2:28-29)

12:30; John 8:44-47) I have all of their posts filtered out because they can
not hold an intelligent conversation and always resort to lies. They claim
to be quoting from Watch Tower literature but these are not exact quotes,
they change words and rearrange sentences. Hence I no longer reply to their
lies. They exist here only to destroy (1 Corinthians 10:6-11) They speak not
as Christians (Ephesians 4:31-32) I do not need to name them for by their
fruits you will recognize them (Matthew 7:16-20) The most important thing to
remember with people like this is what Christ taught us at Matthew 5:10-12

part of that may lie in the fact that this message (and others like it) get
cross posted to alot of irrelevant newsgroups whos members have neither have the
desire nor the patience to deal with people who disregard courtesies and fail to
check (and trim) the groups to which they are posting to before hitting the
"send" button.

An elder in the Jehovah's Witness church has been jailed for child abuse.
James Barratt, 45, of Rugby, Warwickshire, a married man with two children,
was found guilty of indecently assaulting two teenagers entrusted to him for
Bible studies and counselling.
The court heard that Barratt, a church elder, had "systematically" abused
two former members of his congregation over a 10-year period.
Warwick Crown Court heard that Barratt, a trusted friend of the boys'
families, had used Bible lessons and counselling sessions as an opportunity
to indecently assault the teenagers.
Victim Gordon Grant
Throughout the four-day trial Barratt maintained that he had tried to be a
father figure to the boys.
Sentencing him, Judge James Pike said he had been entrusted with vulnerable
young people. He was, he said, an arch-hypocrite.
Barratt was jailed for two years with 12 months suspended. He will be put on
the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
Detective Inspector Jim Hill of Warwickshire Police: "I consider him to be

little kids should go to a phone and dial 911 after being raped in a Kingdom
Hall (or anywhere else) you know they reached the bottom of the barrel. LP
is right down there in the slime with them.
You can be sure the WTS doesn't teach them anything about the techniques and
methods pedophiles use to keep their victims quiet. This fear they instill
in the children is very damaging psychologically and very effective in
keeping the kids from telling. You can also be sure people like LP will not
look this information up on the net or in a library either. He must protect
the reputation of the WTS/JWs at all costs. If innocent children are
trampled into the dust meanwhile, you can be sure he couldn't care less - as
long as the JWs look squeaky clean.
