the name out of the blue.

Anyone can guess the name, all i have to do is post. You can go to google groups,
type in author:|-|erc follow a few dozen threads and get 100 replies to me.
Then give the part they wrote as the question, and 4 random names as the answer.
By chance they should get 25 to 30 right. Do it to anyone else and that's what they
will score. Replies to me people will get about 40%.
If you listed the top 100 replies to me, the most notable match between the name
and message, you could guess them all from 20 to 50, 100 names. Even with
that level of data mining it still approaches 1 chance in 100^100 of error,
than one atom out of all the universe.
It would be more unusual if you didn't have a list of names and could find
the name out of the blue.
That would take 100s of post for me, 10,000s of posts for you. If you want
a smaller test just pick from a list, its still guessing the name.
Can you do it with written letters? Guessing the sender if there isn't a
name anywhere?

let me know. I have collated 50 of the notable replies to me from only 100 total
replies from Jan 2002 to Feb 2002.
You should score 12, you could easily get 30, defeating chance
