True. And given that there are multiple definitions, it is not
correct to say "by definition all atheists claim..." as this
implies there is only one definition.
As there is not one definition in use, there is some dispute over
which is the more reasonable to use when trying to generalise about
'all atheists'. Your earlier comment implied you were of the
opinion that atheism and agnosticism were mutually exlusive
categories. I pointed out that an alternate definition, and one I
regard as a better definition, would not make them exclusionary and
was a better match for 'atheists in general'.
