Is a christian party.

They might claim that. It's more like a nominally fundamentalist xian
theocracy that hypocritically picks and chooses what parts of the
teachings of Jesus and the bible that they feel like following.

Do we need a claim that sun is shining?

It depends on whether it's night time or not.

Or the rain is falling?

Depends on whether there are clouds.

Who
gives a ***** what they are claiming?

Me, for one.

What matter is a reality.

No kidding, ***** weed.

Deal
with it

Been there, done that.

No, it depends on how many idiots like you think that religion (theism) is a belief.

It isn't supposed to be. It doesn't have to be. But it is.
In the 2000 election, Bush could have walked away with the election during
the Republican Convention if they had just been willing to tell the Bible
thumpers to sit down and shut up. Instead, they had to include several
Xtian fundamentalist planks in the party platform, thereby alienating the
moderates who, by definition, comprise the majority of the voting public.
As a result, only half the eligable voters voted, and the votes that were
cast were so evenly split that the Supreme Court had to decide the
outcome.
The real tragedy is that now, 3 years later, the Democrats are showing no
sign of being able to mount a campaign to unseat the Christian-in-chief.

Which proves that religion is all about money and power. If religious
involvement in government and politics was illegal, then republican
party would be illegal too.

The Democrats have their own brand of fundamentalists to deal with.
"Hate Bush" might fire up the party faithful but the moderates will want
to hear something positive, even if it's partisan. They like negativity
even less than faith-based charity initiatives and school vouchers.

You mean something positive like, "Some are now attacking the president
for attacking the terrorists"? ;-)
