Respect for Bill Clinton |

For all his flaws, I believe Mr. Clinton was--and is--a person
who believes that government can and should be an agent of good for
all the people in the country. Mr. Bush apparently
believes that government is an agent for making himself
and his friends richer, while taking the rest of us back
to the days of the robber barons.
Best, Marc

No *****, sherlock. Drag out "god" a few times during speeches and he can get
away with murder. "I talk to god on a daily basis", "that's why I had to lie
like an Enron executive to get my war in Iraq". I used to think it was just
because Saddam said mean things about his daddy, but it's more basic than that,
it's simple greed. What I don't understand is why the continuation of greed,
he can never spend it; why be such a fucking megalomaniac?
The next question is what can be done to end the abuses of having a two party
system of government. It's really getting pathetic.
The TV generation is being replaced by the information/internet generation, but
nothing has improved in politics
