Douglas Adams was on talk.origins for a while in 1993 after he had
been commissioned to write a magazine article on the aquatic ape.
He was a gentleman who was here to discuss and learn, even if he had
to write the article.
At more or less the same time, Phillip Johnson was also on
talk.origins. Acting like a cross-examining trial lawyer ignoring what
he was told as long as he could extract something that could be
twisted to fit what he wanted to prove.
You can find both these on google - if it happens to be working
properly for a change.
