Object: How's THIS for Christian stupidity?
Coach brings in ringers, loses the game anyway

A five-game suspension hardly seems adequate punishment for a private
high school six-man league football coach who brought in college-age
players during an October game without telling anyone.
Herc Palmquist, head administrator and a coach at Texas Christian
School near Houston, not only misled his opponents, he lied to his own
team telling them the game was cancelled because of team injuries and
they had the night off, the Houston Chronicle reported.
That is the height of unsportsmanlike conduct.
Palmquist is fortunate none of the players on the opposing team from
Austin's Not Your Ordinary School were injured.
An assistant coach at the Austin school told the Chronicle there were
some pretty nasty hits on the game film but they had no idea they were
not playing high school students.
The ruse was uncovered when the parent of a former Texas Christian
player found a score on the Internet for the game he thought had been
cancelled and contacted the Web master.
An investigation into the matter resulted in Palmquist's suspension by
the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools, which governs
Texas Christian athletics.
It is hard to imagine why this ill-conceived plan was ever carried out.
Palmquist's squad of guys with tattoos and full beards weren't even
good players. They lost 28-18 to the younger team.
Parents at the school Palmquist founded and incorporated under the
Texas Christian Education Foundation in 1990 should be concerned about
what is being taught to their children.

Your right! That coach is guilty of Violating Texas' ONE TRUE RELIGION!
FOOTBALL!
The fact he cheated and STILL LOST is proof he is a sinner!
When I was stationed at Ft. Hood, I would read in the papers and hear
on the local radio station all sorts of stuff that would land most
football coaches and school administrators in jail in a civilized area!
Things like paying the parents of a good player to move into another
district so their son can play for another school.
Paying the Football Coachs (who barely graduated highschool) more then
teachers with masters degree.
I was asked by a sergent if I could tutor his son in Algrba as he was
not getting very good grades (and the school did not have tutors, only
football coaches)
The kid was in the 7th Grade. And he was using the exact ssame book we
we using when I was in 7th grade. And that was at least 12 to 13 year
in the past. The book was held together with packing tape. The kid told
me that some of the more damaged boos were held to gether with
binders. If a student droped the binder, the whole book would fall
apart. Some books had defaced or damaged pages replaced with Photocopes
of a clean page taped over the origanal.
Mean while, the school had a Football Stadium larger them many Good
soze colleges, a Coaching Staff thatw as larger then the whole school's
adminstative staff, and NEW equipment every year!
Yea, and we wonder why Texas produces so many screwed up people!
Hey, just look at Stang!
