PS Surely you swallowed the usual explanations on the usual questions
I converted about the age of nine or ten, when Dad started work for
Mattel - you know, the toy company - and I got slot cars and my sisters
got Barbie. All with the Mattel stickers on them, of course. My nine
year old brain went "Slot cars! Cool! ... Wait a minute...!!" And I
confronted my parents very shortly after.
