Schiavo Autopsy Contradicts Religious Idiots |
The autopsy results for Terry Schiavo are now out. As expected they
confirm that fundy heart surgeon Bill First was completely incompetent
in issuing his misdiagnosed Ms. Schiavo on the basis of watching
doctored video tapes. One hopes that malpractice charges will be
forthcoming there. Among other things, it has found that (1) Ms. Schiavo
was actually blind because vision centers of her brain were dead and (2)
her brain was profounding atrophied, having lost over half of its mass.
The conclusion is that the damage was irreversible, despite additional
incompetent quack medical claims which were wrongly touted as somehow
"reliable". Yes, the right-wing already lost the argument on this
issue, but the autopsy is epitaph showing that they are factually, as
well as morally wrong on the issue.

in Texas that put people like Terri Schiavo to death
against their wishes -- and the wishes of their family --
if they couldn't afford to pay for medical care?
How could we believe that Tom Delay was insincere
in his commitment to life, after he pulled the plug on
his own Dad back in the 1980s?
Isn't a much simpler explanation that these men of
integrity have been honest to us the whole time, and
it is you of the feminist movement who are lying?

Terri Schiavo would have been put to death years
ago using the same law, if she had been in Texas

It's funny how "morality" is dictated by the size

Personally, I say Bush was highly immoral in
both cases, Sun Hudson & Terri Schiavo. Why?
Because in both cases he acted AGAINST the
wishes of the legal next-of-kin. In both cases

the private religious beliefs of the individual.

is the standard we use for everyone else when we say that she was dead.
The autopsy indicates that her heart may have been stopped for over an
hour before she even made it to the hospital. That results in damage
that is completely irreversible, which is what the autopsy showed. It's
the basis of organ donation that some organs can remain viable, even
after a person has died, but the person who she was had died. Keeping a
zombie corpse functioning is essentially what they were doing. I'm not
surprised that christo-fascist zombies like yourself would want to force
other people like terri schiavo to be one of you. In her case though,
she wasn't even the walking dead. She was the bed-ridden dead.
