School board lacked cash to fight lawsuit
Most views have some basis in fact, but FLORIDA TODAY's Oct. 27 editorial,
"No church graduations," is content with just an opinion, which is really
the low point in intellect.
The editorial failed to include any credible evidence that the editorial
board even knows the nature of the "separation" of church and state on
which they editorialize.
But they are able to rationalize the loss of freedom for millions because
they are committed to an agenda that is opposed to the survival of the
traditional family, which not only built this country, but is its backbone.
The Brevard County School Board's decision not to fight a lawsuit against
holding public school graduation at Calvary Chapel church was a political
necessity, because they lack the resources to fight the atheists in
government and in the media.

.. . . You can't understand a phrase such as "Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of religion" by syllogistic reasoning. Words
take their meaning from social as well as textual contexts, which is why "a
page of history is worth a volume of logic." New York Trust Co. v. Eisner,
