Conspiracy theory:
With the number of people doing that, you almost have to wonder if
J. Young isn't a fake put out by the ACLU's fund-raising department
for the purpose of scaring people into donating to the
organization. :-)

Wouldn't it be hard to fake his level of willful ignorance, though? Yeah,
the frothing fundie thing is kind of easy.
So...are they filming his performances on a soundstage out in the desert?
Can we hope for a magic bullet?

The ACLU works to protect a worman's right to get an abortion if she so
chooses, anyone's right to worship as they choose or not at all and to
not be forced to endure or follow the beliefs of others, as well as
working to secure equal rights for homosexuals.
The question is, why would J. Young, who comes across as hating the
ACLU and everything that it stands for, encourage people to send them
Christmas cards thanking them for doing a good job protection our
rights, freedoms, and liberties?

No, it's actual ignorance and stupidity. These right-wing idiots
really think that the ACLU hates christmas, and that sending
them christmas cards will annoy them. They can't conceive of an
organization that is against mixing government and religion on

Apparently, Rep. Mark Foley is homosexual. And like many homosexual
men, he likes young teen boys. We should pray for him that he gets a
handle on this problem and refrains from harming any more kids.
Meanwhile, we need to wake up. The fact that this is typical behavior
for homosexuals doesn't stop us from continuing to elevate such folks
to positions where they gain access to our kids.
