JANUARY 4, 1811
Mr. Findley presented a petition of the Synod of Pittsburg, in the
State of Pennsylvania, praying that the laws and regulations for the
government of the Post- office Establishment may be so altered or
amended as to prohibit mail stages and post riders from traveling, and
post-offices being kept open, on Sunday.
