Against who? Israel? The Israelies have had such weapons for decades.
If Syria used such weapons against Israel, the Israelies would turn Syria
into a sea of glass, and the Syrians have to know that. If the Syrians
launched a conventional war and were on the verge of winning, the
Israelies would turn Syria into a sea of glass, and the Syrians have to
know that.
At the moment, Syrian weapons would limit Israeli options.
I doubt the credibility of your source anyway.
