The Israelis are very smart.
They used to treat Palestinians like animals. The Palestinians did not
liked it, so they had to expell and kill them and bring Chinese to work
for them - and now they treat them the same way as they used to treat
Palestinians.
Wanna bet that, in a few years, we will hear about Chinese intifada in
Israel and, if you are Americans, will be asked to shelve another
billions of dollars to Israel?

AN Israeli company has required thousands of Chinese workers to sign a
contract promising not to have sex with Israelis or try to convert
them, a police spokesman said yesterday.
According to the document, male workers cannot come into contact with
Israeli women -- including prostitutes -- become their lovers or marry
them, spokesman Rafi Yaffe said. He said there was nothing illegal
about the requirement and no investigation had been opened against the
company.
The labourers are also forbidden in the contract from engaging in any
religious or political activity. Those who violate the agreement will
be sent back to China.
About 260,000 foreigners work in Israel, having replaced Palestinian
labourers during three years of fighting.AP

There have been cases in Christian companies run by American
Christians
where company policy is that someone engaging in adultery, or even
dating
someone else in the company might be grounds for dismissal. It may
be against US law, but if some company boss wants to run his company
according to his personal values then someone take him to court if his
or her policies are deemed prejudicial. If some orthodox Jewish
boss doesn't want foreign gentiles banging the Jewish girls working in
the company, and threatens to dismiss those he finds out about, one
can argue whether he's right or wrong about having such company
policies, but it's not
the official policy of the State of Israel.

its institutionalised oppression of women is to insist that a woman is
'holy' *by definition*. So: they get told that they 'embody the divine';

Of course, it's all a fucking *con* - as a woman, you get 'venerated', but

The Chinese culture and traditions are overwhelmingly strong and at the
same time very similar to the Israelis' past at least, if not still
relevant in the present. Therefore, to prevent the dilution of the
"Israeli identity", a "young" nation still with lot of unsettling
troubles, Israel is perhaps trying to keep away a possible overwhelming
ancient culture(one of the last surviving two of the acknowledged four)
"foreign" influences.
You must understand, China is the only country in the world where
ancient Jews and Israelites get assimilated into the host country
mainstream society till there is almost no present day trace or
descendants of the so called Chinese Jews left today.
Having the need to require the Chinese workers to sign "a contract of
promise" not to engage in any sexual activities with Israelis women can
be taken as a sign of indication that the Israelis have perceived that
Israelis women would or may be a willing partner to such activities.
On a more hidden agenda, simply put, Jews would preferred to look white
if they can help it, than say Arabic(which the ancient people of
Israel/Judea did look like mainly) or Chinese or anything else.
Again you must understand, the current official mode of identifying who
is a Jews today which was set out by the rabbis is to identify a child
being born of a Jewish mother, regardless of who the father is. So any
baby that are born out of the sexual engagement between Chinese labour
workers and any Israeli woman would then be considered a Jew, just as
its mother is.
Israel today is not ready to look like Chinese in any measurable scale,
non is it likely in the foreseeable future either.
In USA, there are children who have a Jew and a Chinese as parents.

The company has not been named (at least not in the on-line publications I
have seen), but it is located in Tel Aviv. There are 260,000 foreign workers
(from various countries) in Israel. The name of the guy who made the
decision is apparently also being kept confidential. I do not remember who
posted about the apology. I don't see that anything has been posted on-line
on this subject since December 24. If I was mistaken about the apology, I
will recant. But I found nothing on-line that implicated the Israeli
government or implied that the issue involved more than one company.

background.
2. Is his company a privately run company with links to the state of
Israel or is it actually a state company to start off with.
3. Is his company also the "lone" company that employ foreign labours or
just Chinese ones or are there many more companies in Israel that engage
in recruiting and using foreign workers?

Recent immigrants such as Russians and Ethiopians are disliked by older immigrants, and there is much resentment among secular Israelis at the privileges given to ultra-orthodox Jews.
