Bill O'Reilly, angry over what he perceives to be personal attacks by the
mainstream media, publicly threatened to expose details of the personal
lives of two New York Times employees - Executive Editor Bill Keller and
opinion columnist Frank Rich. On January 2nd's O'Reilly Factor, in the
course of an interview with two political strategists, he said this:
"Because everybody fears them but both of those men have led lives and if
they want to attack people personally - Rich in print and Keller allowing
it - then we're gonna have to just show everybody about their lives."
O'Reilly declared before Christmas his intention of creating a list of
"left-wing smear merchants." One wonders if this time he's gone too far in
his jihad against perceived enemies of the Bush administration and FOX
News.
