Shameless Plug |
Greetings,
Don't hate me for plugging my new eStore! I'm only trying to make a
living here!
This is not Spam! Really!
Seriously, I just added my 200th item to my online catalog, and am
hoping to get some customers from around here, so it really is a
shameless plug, but I'm not ashamed of it! :)
I'm going semi-live at this point, and hope to get at least a few
customers from around here to buy some stuff from me, and give
me some constructive criticism about the site, and if things go well,
I'll be needing some people who want to work from home, in their
bare feet and bathrobes, or whatever, instead of having to drive to
some "office."
So, here's the link:
http://www.elroysemporium.com/eCommerce/
Do not let the Noah's Ark Bird House scare you away!
Click on some of the other categories on the left side to see what
all's available, if you dare...
Cheers,

Where's all the red blood?
Obviously, no red-blooded American would buy it, that's why I didn't
include it in my catalog. :)

That item is more of a new-age "crystal-believer" type thing, because
it glows in the dark, right?
Jesus shined his own light and didn't need any magic glow-in-the-dark
crystals or magic, right?
Hmm... You're probably the wrong person to ask about that, so I'll
pass the question on to georgann.
So, georgann? What have you to say about a glow-in-the-dark cross?
Cool, or pagan idolatry?

Ask her what she thinks of the last supper clock while you're at it. That
and the light-up Jesus nightlight :)

I vote for "tacky" :)

Well, I don't actually have those on my site. I'm actually thinking
of adding a "Christian Items" section since there are so many items in
the paper catalog that I could pick from. Some of the Gothic and
Celtic type crosses aren't as gruesome as those that have that dead
guy hanging in the middle.

Yeah, there are quite a few tacky items in the paper catalog. Some of
them might sell, though, who knows... Christians will buy just about
anything Jebus related, won't they?

I only uploaded the above image just so other people could see what
we were talking about. I don't think I'll ever add that one to the
online catalog.

Yeah, some of those were okay, I must admit.
I can identify with the sun being in the center of the cross, and it
"crossing" the four seasons, but when you stick a dead guy in the
middle, especially with blood dripping from some wounds, it just
doesn't seem to work for me, so I doubt I'll be adding any Jesus on
the cross items.
The closest I've come so far is the item below, which is a clock in
the middle of a wire cross, which I see as symbolizing how we use
the sun as a measurer of time.
http://www.elroysemporium.com/eCommerce/products/33210.html
If that lower part were changed to look like the other three, it
wouldn't bother me a bit, but I'll bet it'd throw georgann into a
tizzy fit, because she thinks her bloody Jesus was crucified on a
cross with one longer leg on the bottom. So it could be stuck in the
ground or something...
The bottom part looks like a potato masher or food whisk or something,
don't you think?
So, georgann? What have you to say about a glow-in-the-dark cross?

I found the following two items too horrible-looking to add, for some
reason:
http://www.elroysemporium.com/eCommerce/images/30223.jpg
http://www.elroysemporium.com/eCommerce/images/31774.jpg
They might appeal to high-energy patriotic Americans, eh?

Gah! I would certainly hope not! Though some jebus sucker would definitely
buy it ;)

Don't forget, in her diagram, "everything points to the cross". Hoo boy,
what a crock.

LOL! I thought the EXACT same thing! Too funny :)
