"She killed a bunch of kids, and you don't do that in Harris County," |
This headline could have easily been about the closing of the local abortion
mill. Maybe Andrea Yates should take her cue from Planned Parenthood; have
the ACLU represent her and claim she was only exercising her "Freedom of
Choice", albeit retroactively.
http://today.reuters.com/news/NewsArticle.aspx?type=domesticNews&storyID=2005-11-09T232314Z_01_SPI960173_RTRUKOC_0_US-CRIME-YATES.xml
Texas child-killer Yates will have second trial
HOUSTON (Reuters) - Andrea Yates, the Texas mother who drowned her five
children in 2001, will face a second trial after the state's highest
criminal court refused on Wednesday to reinstate the murder convictions
against her.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals upheld a lower appeals court's ruling
issued in January that overturned jury verdicts against Yates because of
errors in the testimony of an expert witness.
Harris County District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal said he would try Yates
again as soon as possible. "She killed a bunch of kids, and you don't do
that in Harris County," he said.

No. I told you: that's how I view it morally.
No. You called it murder. Show the legal statutes which define it as

And you lied about people who don't view it as murder whan you called

So, abortion isn't really about women's health.
It isn't really any of your business either.
It is my business, and you're just going to have to live with that.
Women are not the property of you, your church, the state, or the
fetus, and you have no right to command her servitude. She is not
your slave.
You are in no position to tell me what my business is and isn't.
And a pregnant woman has as much right to tell you the very same
thing.
No, she isn't, because the human life she wishes to extinguish is not her
property, and only half the DNA of it is hers.
Try enforcing that on any woman
Once Roe v. Wade is overturned, that shouldn't be so hard.
Not even you believe that.
I certainly do!

Not even California law agrees with you, son. Have fun beating your head
against the wall.

No. California law does *not* state that the fetus is
the property of the woman who carries it. Stop lying.

Then whose is it, Perry Mason? (She's free to abort, even in California, up
through the second trimester...and there are always a couple of adjacent
states that don't bother with California's restrictions. Don't expect getting
your wet dream any time soon.)

Not the property of anyone, O.J. A human being is not
the property of anyone else in a free society.

Thanks for admitting that the woman gets to make her own choice, and there's
damn all you can to do prevent it.
