Gee, I could come up with something more 'shocking' than that. I'm not
sure what would be most appropriate. ;-)

Obviously a serious parody by Tussaud's. Why else would they have
"Tony Blair, George W. Bush and the Duke of Edinburgh star as The Three
Wise Men."

Bush one of the wise men? I would have cast him as the donkey.

David Beckham as Joseph... mmmm... Like to see him mounted on a camel
anytime. Or mounted anywhere, for that matter, just as long as he got
mounted. Muahahah.... Now _that_ would be my kinda' nativity scene.
;-DDDDD
Hmmnn... Yes, I can see it now. A "nativity scene" which in reality
turns out to be an ad for Trojan condoms.
<We see a couple in the dark of night sillhouetted against the moon - a
summaric event occurs in which they find their one room at the inn>
Joseph: "Man, is my ***** sore?"
Mary: "_Your_ *****!"
Joseph (petting donkey as he helps Mary down): "I was talking to the
donkey. C'mere, Buttercup, have some nice hay and relax..."
Mary: "Speaking of hay, I know I'm gettin' close and all, but three-
thousand miles on the back of a donkey's made me surprisingly..."
<pause> "...'unvirginal'... if you know what I mean..."
Joseph (approaching Mary & taking her in his arms): "Hmmnn... I think I
do..."
<A whinnying horse comes crashing through the straw doors of the hut as
Joseph & Mary step back in shock>
Mary: "What the...?"
Joseph: "What is the meaning of this?"
Trojan Man: "Oh, holey night, fair virgin ma'am and soon-to-be heavenly
studmuffin! If this virgin birth is supposed to be purely a _VIRGIN_
birth, you'd best use *protection*!"
<dramatic music, a glowing, celestial hand enters the picture bearing one
Trojan condom>
Joseph: "But of course! I should have thought... How can the Son of
Man be sacred & pure covered in the very-earthly seed of some mortal
lowlife such as myself? I feel like such an *****!"
Donkey (offended): "Grunt... <snort>"
Angelic voice: "Now there can be peace on Earth..."
Trojan Man: "And _you_, my lad, can have a 'piece of her'..."
Both: <laughter>
Mary: "C'mere, big boy..."
Mary (holding a hand for Joseph to stop as he responds to her request):
"I was talking to the horse..."
Angel: (shocked expression)
Joseph: "Gasp!"
Horse (orgasmically): "BBBRRRRRRAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!"
<fade out>
Pfeh. David & Victoria Beckham, a "shocking" nativity indeed.
Amatuers... ;-)

I think the fact that the godbots are 'shocked and apalled' says it
all... not only do they have no sense of humor, they are mentally
deranged to think they have any right to tell others what artistic
expressions they are allowed. But then fascism is no stranger to

Why is it so sacriligious to dress up a wax figure of Posh Spice as the
Virgin Mary, but not sacriligious to dress up little Ashley as the same
thing for the Sunday school nativity play? Were any of the people in
question Muslim or Buddist or Atheist? I mean, the Duke of Edinburgh as a
wise man - wow, really pushing the envelope there.
I'm willing to bet that many of the actual people in represented in the
display were in a school Christmas pageant at some point playing one of the
parts in the scene.

The Vatican was not amused.
"This is worse than bad taste. It is cheap," an official Vatican source
told Reuters in Rome.
"You cannot use contemporary personalities as the central figures of the
Nativity ... And it becomes worse, if that were possible, if the people may
be of questionable moral standing," he added.
Of course the vatican fails to recognize the fact that their inability to
see the humor in such a display speaks vainly of the strength of their own
faith.
