'Shove it' still reverberating! Because Liberals Hate America!
Teresa Heinz Kerry's "shove it" phrase to a Pittsburgh editor was the
most cited Kerry campaign message in the press last week - mentioned
381 times in American publications, according to Factiva, a Dow
Jones/Reuters company that tracks daily press mentions.
But the two words also brought death threats, insults and accusations
upon Colin McNickle, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review editorial-page
editor who vexed Mrs. Kerry by asking her to explain her claim that
"un-American traits" were emerging in politics. In a Boston Globe
interview, singer Patti LaBelle advised Mrs. Kerry to "pimp slap" Mr.
McNickle; liberal columnist Molly Ivins suggested he had
inappropriately "touched" Mrs. Kerry; and former Baltimore Sun
columnist Jack Germond told CNN that Mr. McNickle "was not a
legitimate newspaperman."
He responded in a Tribune-Review column Sunday, explaining he was only
seeking an example of "un-American traits" from Mrs. Kerry, but "I got
a finger in the face and was told to 'shove it.' I have been
told worse things by more important people."
A mention of Mr. McNickle's column in Editor & Publisher was picked up
by the Drudge Report yesterday, ultimately reversing the firestorm of
criticism, Mr. McNickle said.
"Today, I got 1,700 e-mails in four hours, most supportive, saying I'd
done a good job," Mr. McNickle said.
"But you know what?" he pointed out. "Mrs. Kerry never answered my
question."
Kerry: Service Should Not Be "Litmus Test" For Leadership. Mr.
President, you and I know that if
support or opposition to the war were to become a litmus test for
leadership, America would never
have leaders or recover from the divisions created by that war. You
and I know that if service or
nonservice in the war is to become a test of qualification for high
office, you would not have a Vice President, nor would you have a
Secretary of Defense and our Nation would never recover from the
divisions created by that war. (Sen. John Kerry, Congressional Record,
10/08/92, p. S17709)
But Now Kerry Constantly Challenges The Stature Of His Democratic
Opponents Over Their Lack Of Military Service. And more than ever,
Mr. Kerry is invoking his stature as a Vietnam veteran as he
challenges the stature of his Democratic opponents -- none of whom, he
frequently points out, have ‘worn the uniform of our country' -- to
withstand a debate with Mr. Bush on national security. (Adam
Nagourney, As Campaign Tightens, Kerry Sharpens Message, The New York
Times, 8/10/03)

yep, and that shows what kind of media you have.
One that finds a remark like "shove it" so terribly important
that they can`t get enough of it. I would like to say to that media
S H O V E I T. and like to ad, W H E R E T H E S U N D O N` T S H I N
E.
to make it a lot clearer what I mean.
But the two words also brought death threats, insults and accusations

Emerging? Hell they have been here since I can remember.
In a Boston Globe

Right, so shove it, and move on.
You have done nothing of any importance.
"But you know what?" he pointed out. "Mrs. Kerry never answered my
question."
Nope, she told you to shove that un-american question, which
wasn`t a question but an insinuation. By answering it you would have
complied that there was susch a thing, and she didn`t answer it because
she saw right through the little scam.

Gosh, that makes a lot of sense. I mean, one would surely expect the Vast
Left Wing Conspiracy Media to hammer on Teresa's "shove it" a lot harder
than ***** Cheney's "***** you" on the floor of the Senate. Of course. . .
Unless, the media **isn't liberal** and that's just a convenient myth.
