I've took a peek at this disgusting thread.
Re: Bible confirms destruction of New York city!
Is that a good thing? Perhaps somebody needs to ask some of those victims on
9/11 what their opinion is about the destruction of NYC or any city for that
matter -- and ask them too, did they deserve to be caught in that
destruction.
The Bible (a so-called *holy* book) seems to serve only one purpose, and
that being of forecasting doom, destruction, annihilation, damnation,
condemnation, judgment, punishments, death, disease, wrath, pestilence, --
all the worst traits of evil -- and everything that man would try to
build -- G-d is going to come along and wipe it out, because a
prophet/terrorist/madman said so. The prophets of the Bible were terrorists,
or are Christians so blind they can't see it? Osama Bin Ladin would say "May
Allah bring about the destruction of New York city!" too. But I doubt some
can see a connection there, between terrorists, and a mean-spirited prophet.
It doesn't really matter.
New York has not been destroyed. So the Bible has confirmed nothing.
I'll wager the Bible will be destroyed before NYC.

How much do you want to wager?
So when did Babylon become New York City?
And shouldn't we change the names on the maps?
While Babylon is certainly a spiritual name for the
city being referred to, it also certainly is not NYC.
And on what authority does this "certainty" come from?
Please feel free to enlighten me.
History. Babylon was destroyed, yet, Peter refers to
an active city that he was in at the moment, as
"Babylon". John also refers to Babylon in Revelation,
even though Babylon had been destroyed.
Sorry Dave, it appears that I misunderstood you.
I thought that you were saying that New York City had the spiritual
name of Babylon.

air)
As usual phony pastor Dave has his biblical stories mixed up.
In an attempt to deceive, he fails to mention that Babylon is a small town
in NY state. Big Deal!
