It looks like a zombie Jesus bursting from the ground on Easter
morning.
With a cross tossed in, in case it was too subtle.
Next year they'll be installing rivers of blood and a water/blood-park.

Assuming the statue is on the churches property, which I think would
make it technically legal, someone that owns property near this site
should have a giant statue built, too, maybe of a minimally clad movie
star, Satan, Grandpa from the Munsters, or Buddha and see how quickly
the church demands it's removal.
Would it be proven that an eyesore has equal status whether secular or
not?
Capitol idea, huh?

Build a 'Jesus' getting head from a child or parting his/her cheeks.
It's good you know.

Hello, theocracy with a fundamentalist US Supreme
Court who will ensure church and state are joined
at the hip like clergy and altar boys.

Quoting from the site... I'd have to agree with the "eyesore"! Whew!
Soon after the statue's completion, tipster Lori Baker wrote us: "I
found it interesting that a poll taken of locals concerning the statue
of Jesus in Monroe had the following results: 25% feel that it is a
'Godsend, good for Monroe,' while 75% found that it was an 'Eyesore,
bad for Monroe.'"
