(Skater Movie) Gleaming The Cube |
Man this movie rocks, it has that guy that has the same voice as Jack
Nicholson, the actor known as Christian Slater.
The movie has a great plot, Christian Slater has an adopted asian
brother and somehow he gets killed. Christian Slater has to skateboard
all over to find out what happened.
One of my favorite parts of the movie is when all the skaters get in
the back of the Pizza Hut truck.
That must of been a crazy time to live, now if you want to be a Pizza
Hut delivery driver you have to have your own car, back then they had
these big red trucks that said Pizza Hut.
Remember in the movie when Christian Slater skateboards under the semi
truck on the freeway? That was a great stunt.
Who else loves this movie?

You know what? I remember this movie from my childhood, but they
changed the title at some later date. I could never figure out why,
but it seemed I was the only won who remembered it. I remember asking
everywon about it and they were all like, "That was never a movie.
You're fucking crazy, man. Want some more 'Pixie Stix'?" Does anywon
remember this?

I recall that. I think the new name was "A brother's justice" or something
like that. Perhaps because nobody knew what the ***** "gleaming the cube"
meant. Perhaps no one ever has. Perhaps no one ever will.
But anyway, the movie was shown on tv at some point while I was in college
and a buddy of mine was the one to point out that the same movie had once
been called gleaming the cube.

Hello people, I am the year 2006. Have we met?
Not only can you not properly reply to quoted text, you have made a
"faux-pas" in your jibe, in that it is out of place. We were
commenting on a picture whose title was changed some time in the
mid-to-late-eighties. I speak for myself when I say that I had not
heard the "original title" referenced since my childhood until Steven
Perkoff brought it up in the newsgroup, just today.
All I can say about your comment is, if this is an example of the sort
of posts you intend on contributing to the group from now on, I
suggest you lurk for a short while until you get the "gist" of things
around here.
Love,
Wavy.

All I can say about your comment is, if this is an example of the sort
of posts you intend on contributing to the group from now on, I
suggest you lurk for a short while until you get the "gist" of things
around here.
Love,
Wavy.
Jeesh, you didn't have to go and hurt my feelings like that. You seem a
little high strung, I think you should get a colon cleansing, I hear
that
it is very stress reducing. I'll try to make better "contributions" to
the
group from now on and I appologize to all those who made worthy
contributions to the thread "(Skater Movie) Gleaming The Cube"
Now see right there: you forgot your period and the end of your final
sentence. For all I know, that single error may send sewservers
everywhere hurling into a maelstrom of chaos, possibly causing the
entire Global Usent to come to a screeching halt.
You need to be more careful, and try a little harder from now on, if
you intend on staying here.
I will also try make a more diligent effort of using proper punctuation
also. I was just wondering though, if by my not using a period is going to
cause such a catastrophic event, what will happen when your misspelling of
newsserver is noticed? That could lead to an apocolyptic event which will
put a soaring end to usenet. Do you want that on your shoulders? I know I
wouldn't want to be responsible for something like that....................

Man this movie rocks, it has that guy that has the same voice
as
Jack
Nicholson, the actor known as Christian Slater.
The movie has a great plot, Christian Slater has an adopted
asian
brother and somehow he gets killed. Christian Slater has to
skateboard
all over to find out what happened.
One of my favorite parts of the movie is when all the skaters
get
in
the back of the Pizza Hut truck.
That must of been a crazy time to live, now if you want to be a
Pizza
Hut delivery driver you have to have your own car, back then
they
had
these big red trucks that said Pizza Hut.
Remember in the movie when Christian Slater skateboards under
the
semi
truck on the freeway? That was a great stunt.
Who else loves this movie?
You know what? I remember this movie from my childhood, but
they
changed the title at some later date. I could never figure out
why,
but it seemed I was the only won who remembered it. I remember
asking
everywon about it and they were all like, "That was never a
movie.
You're fucking crazy, man. Want some more 'Pixie Stix'?" Does
anywon
remember this?
I recall that. I think the new name was "A brother's justice" or
something
like that. Perhaps because nobody knew what the ***** "gleaming
the
cube"
meant. Perhaps no one ever has. Perhaps no one ever will.
But anyway, the movie was shown on tv at some point while I was in
college
and a buddy of mine was the one to point out that the same movie
had
once
been called gleaming the cube.
I knew I wasn't crazy all these years. Thanks, G-Ride. We "Gs"
need
to stick together, because it's clear that we are smarter than
everywon else.
You're welcome. And you're right about G's being smarter.....I
looked
it
up
on IMDB and I was right about it being renamed "A Brother's
Justice".
Apparently it was also called "Skate or Die" in some incarnation as
well.

Spelling errors are not so difficult for the admins to work around.

.....Says FLIPPER mike. Why don't you bark and slap your flippers together
and maybe we'll reward you with a fresh fish. I think you want people to
believe that you use flipper as part of your name to signify pinball machine
flippers but I think its because you are a seal molester. You force them to
touch you with their flippers, among the other lude acts you preform on
them. Sound about right? I think it does!
