Sleepwalker cleared of three rapes |
The only thing more ridiculous than the young man's defense is; the young
"lady" spending a night drinking with a guy , going home with him, and then
being shocked when he makes a move on her. I'll bet she wouldn't have cried
rape if he hadn't been ""very fast, rough, inconsiderate and without
affection".

A man was cleared of raping a woman three times in a matter of minutes after
a jury accepted yesterday that he was sleepwalking during the attack. James
Bilton
admitted he must have had sex with the 22-year-old woman, but claimed he
could not remember anything that had happened.
It is believed to be one of the first times the condition "automania" has
been used as a successful defence in a sex case in Britain.
Bilton, 22, slumped forward in the dock as the jury of seven women and five
men found him not guilty of three rape charges.
The pair had been friends for more than a year and had spent a night out
drinking before returning to his flat.
The woman fell asleep on the sofa before he woke her and put her to bed,
saying he would sleep on the sofa, York Crown Court heard.
Bilton kissed her on the forehead before he left the room and the woman said
she thought, "What a nice guy".
But she later became aware of a hand on her breast before realising he was
lying beside her. He allegedly raped her three times before climbing over
her to leave the room.
The woman, who agreed that the attack was "very fast, rough, inconsiderate
and without affection", contacted a friend who called the police on her
behalf.

Jealous, are we? Or just resentful the man didn't bless any of the
women with a pregnancy?
