Stupid fucks. 'Jesus' sent the damned hurricanes as was scripted in
the 'Divine Plan' before he farted the universe into being.

Yes, about as well as the prayers of billion or so Catholics for pope JP
II to recover, and the prayers of the current pope, who said he prayed
not to be chosen. Do like George CArlin says: pray to the sun. It
works about half the time, same as praying to God.

Yes, about as well as the prayers of billion or so Catholics for pope JP
II to recover,
the problem is that most people are incredibly stupid. they don't follow
instructions. they don't know how to. they manage to grasp how to perform
simple manual tasks like wiping their arses, but any kind of mental activity
is beyond them.
Jesus gave specific instructions on how to pray. These arseholes recite this
pray a 1000 times, but never understand that it's not supposed to be some
mindless chant. it's supposed to instruct them HOWTO pray.
the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples is known as the "Our Father" and
in that prayer, there is this line: "Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in
Heaven."
That is what people are supposed to pray - that God's Will be done, not
their own wishes be done.
that's why when people pray for specific outcomes, they hardly ever get
them, because they are praying that their own will be done.
and the prayers of the current pope, who said he prayed
not to be chosen. Do like George CArlin says: pray to the sun. It
works about half the time, same as praying to God.
If you pray that God's Will be done, it will work everytime.
It is God's Will that people die. Like us, he gets bored by the same scenery
and desires change and fresh blood.
When He gets really bored He organises a planet-wide mass extermination of
all life and the emergence of a new dominant species.
Human beings might have as much as 10 000 years left to live before we are
exterminated.
God did not create us in His image, that's just cult propaganda.

Oh well, at least he has effectively admitted that a billion Cathoilics

all prayer is redundant as far as changing the world is concerned. people
pray to change themselves, to affect their own serenity. to meditate and to
feel joy.
prayer can be very effective at doing that.
in fact praying that God's Will be done makes many religious people feel
quite wonderful inside.
religion may well be the opium of the masses. and opium is a very soothing

Yes, I tried it once. Too soothing. Best to stay away. If there's
anything we've learned, it's that opiates are big trouble for the mind.
They feel good at first but eventually cause nothing but suffering to
the user, his loved ones and innocent people. We've certainly seen the
horrible effects of the opium of the masses over the centuries and
perhaps never as much as these days.

religion may well be the opium of the masses. and opium is a very
soothing substance, i've heard.
Yes, I tried it once. Too soothing. Best to stay away. If there's
anything we've learned, it's that opiates are big trouble for the
mind.
The worst problem is the resultant constipation.

there are no innocent people. you just haven't gotten to know them yet. they
deserve all that they're getting and more.
We've certainly seen the
horrible effects of the opium of the masses over the centuries and
perhaps never as much as these days.
insist that your supermarket marks everything in kilograms and litres. and
spell it right. it's litres, not liters.
that's your real problem. a lack of integration with the way the rest of the
world works.
stop being an American and become a citizen of the world.
