A Crusaders Arabian Tour tee shirt complete with 1100 AD tour dates, and an

There's an A & P liquor store in the same building, so maybe that's why. I
mainly go there for their great frozen foods (and I agree their pizza is
great). Their wasabi teryaki sauce is fantastic, as well as their manderine
chicken. You haven't tried their kettle chips? Fabulous. They has have
great frozen hors d'ovres and most of their desserts are also very good.
Stear clear of the key lime cheese cake - Terrible.

Oooh, it doesn't really taste like wasabi at all. Just teryaki with a bit
of a kick. I went through two bottles in record time. Is a great meat
marinade and also does wonderfully as a stir fry sauce with chicken :)
If you like Spanakopita (Greek spinach pie), their's is excellent. They
also have it as an apetitizer (spinach triangles made with filo pastry).

Ours does, but you have to buy that <ahem> overseas beer. I kind of liked

It's like Dutch Budweiser, according to a source in Holland, but served
ice cold and in great quantities, it's really pretty good.

Well, yes. In fact, that's where I got the "TBC" term from in the
first place: it's listed as that in their newsletters.

Mine doesn't, but I TOTALLY agree - It

Where are you located, Robyn? I seem to recall that you're in or near
NYC, or am I hallucinating? In either case, the Trader Joe's I go to
is in Westfield, NJ. Specifically:

155 Elm St, Westfield, NJ
maps.yahoo.com can provide the appropriate driving directions.
Anyway, quite the good liquor selection available there, including
many varieties of the TBC; highly recommended to all EAC members
within the area...

I got a copy of "The Blind Watchmaker" from my wife. Anyone else
get
especially appropriate gifts?

Does a ton of "Nightmare Before Christmas" stuff count? :)

Cool! I love that movie!

Heehee! I'm looking forward to some merlot in my Jack Skellington
wine
glass :)

I'm jealous. I've only got the merlot. (Two-Buck-Chuck at that!)

Trader Joe's RULES! (Of course, in the NY/NJ area, costs are a little
higher, so we have to settle for Three-Buck-Chuck...)

Your Trader Joe's sells booze?!?!?

Well, yes. In fact, that's where I got the "TBC" term from in the
first place: it's listed as that in their newsletters.

Mine doesn't, but I TOTALLY agree - It
so rules :)

Hey, that's a little under an hour away from where I live, down the Garden
State Parkway. The Trader Joes I go do is in Westwood, NJ :)

Anyway, quite the good liquor selection available there, including
many varieties of the TBC; highly recommended to all EAC members
within the area...

Hmm, might have to make that trip to check it out :)

Just went there today to spend the Trader Joe's gift card my parents
gave me for Chrimble; lots of little luxury items (a pound of smoked
salmon, some Australian free-range beef, a dozen jumbo cage-free brown
eggs, etc), and about ten assorted bottles of Three Buck Chuck! I'll
definitely be enjoying the New Year! :)

It surprised me that they didn't, when I moved to New York. They did
in California. NY has some anachronistic laws about this. Wine and
spirits can't be sold in supermarkets like they can in some states.

Heehee. I knew I was in trouble when I opened the first present (huge
coffee mug with big picture of Jack Skellington) and she rolled her eyes and
said "Oh no". By the time I got to the salt and pepper shakers, she was
beside herself. Oh well. As I told her, I have no intentions of growing old
gracefully and there are far worse things I could be into. She took it very
good naturedly :)

I was a grown up for a long time, its overrated and the hours stink.
Id liketo think over the last few years Ive gotten younger.
A lot of it will always be attitude, people used to think I was
