A jury late Monday convicted a man on three counts of aggravated rape
of children for his role in the sex abuse case surrounding the
now-closed Hosanna Church in Ponchatoula.
Austin Trey Bernard III, 39, of Hammond, was the first of seven
members of the church to go on trial. He was accused of raping his
daughter, who was 2 at the time, and a 12-year-old boy.

District attorney Scott Perrilloux said he was pleased with the
verdict. He said he next plans to bring Louis Lamonica, former pastor
of the defunct church, to trial, although he could not give a specific
date for that case to begin.

Catholics tithe to support pedophile priests? Do most christians support
the very institutions trying to rewrite America as a theocracy?

Looks like Yang is going on a crusade. For some reason the Church of
God and Pentecostal church denomination (Swaggart, Oral Roberts, etc)
and the Catholic church tend to have all the problems.
Pentecostal churches tend to get emotional.
But to sober denominations that actually practice what they preach,
Yang never a word gives commendations. But in just a couple of
churches that I have recently attended there were food baskets
nearby. And I personally stood by my pastor at the grocery store
when he purchased a big loadful of groceries to a woman and her
daughter who didn't have the funds.

Christians.
