Hovland sentenced Gordon Leroy Sonnenberg, 65, to 21 years and 10
months in prison on Friday for receipt of material involving the
sexual exploitation of minors. Sonnenberg will be on supervised
probation upon his release for the remainder of his life. There is no
parole in the federal system.

Sonnenberg's ex-wife, who recently divorced him for financial reasons,
two of their children and a PASTOR testified to Sonnenberg's redeeming
qualities. They said they do not approve of his actions but still love
him
