Amazing, when I first heard the 'Aisha' story she was an orphan 'taken into
his household' aged 9 and later she became his wife. I suppose it is
inevitable that sooner or later she will be six months old when he 'marries'
her. Still, in that era it was not unknown, a certain King of England
m,arried a 8yo.... and in the Dark Ages, way back in 1937, a man, quite
legally, married a nine year old in...um.... the USA. I dont recall if he
was a muslim or not.
