AIKEN — The 22-year-old son of a minister has been sentenced to 15
years in prison after admitting he molested six girls over three years
with many of the attacks happening during church activities.
Investigators learned about the assaults after James A. Duncan Jr.
sent a text message to one of the victims, which was seen by a friend
who reported it, prosecutors said.
The victims were all girls between 10 and 15.
Many of the incidents took place at a Baptist church in New Ellenton,
angering their parents even more, prosecutor Barbara Morgan said.
