A clergyman and his wife who allegedly defrauded another clergyman of
thousands of naira were brought before an Abuja magistrate court
yesterday.
The accused person, Pastor Samuel Onye and his wife, Mrs Josephine
Onye, all of Area A, Nyanya, Abuja were said to have bought 190
plastic seats worth N70,000 from Pastor David Ovula of Dantata
Quarters, Nyanya, Abuja, and made a part payment of N40, 000 and
converted the remaining balance of N30, 000 to their personal use, the
court heard.
