(NEWS 3) - A former church pastor charged with sexually assaulting two
female church members pleaded guilty Friday to one count of 1st Degree
Criminal Sexual Conduct for having sex with a 14-year-old church
member.
Steven Ruger, 43, a former pastor at the Church of Christ in Sturgis,
pleaded to the one count in court this morning, one day before a trial
was scheduled to begin.
In exchange, the other nine counts against him were dropped, including
those involving the second victim, a 13-year-old girl.
