Did anyone actually watch it?
The first half was great and the second was excellent, not that I liked the
second half (I really did not) but knowing how many Christians it must be
upsetting as it aired, made all the diff for me, a bloody classic!
We should play it every Christmas instead of the Wizard of Oz.

Jackie Brown was on another channel so I taped it and watched it Sunday
morning. I nearly stopped watching during Act 1 because I found it
really pedestrian and obvious, then the tap-dancing Klansmen came on.
This was the only bit I found hysterically funny. The rest was just
faintly amusing.
I suspect it works better on stage.

Did you ever see that KKK episode? That one and the "Lorie & Dorie"
conjoined twins (one a midget) were the best ever ones, then the show got a
"snip" and just lost it's quality.
If I cant watch people beating each other up while admitting to be lesbian
triplet prostitute lap dancing whores, who want a sex change, then I would
rather not watch it at all. There I said it.

Nah, I didn't watch it....I hate Opera.

We should play it every Christmas instead of the Wizard of Oz.

One of the worse films ever made that.....not that I've ever managed to
see the whole thing.

Yeah, I did. As entertainment, it was shite.
As an opera, it was even worse.

No, it was born in the head of Richard Thomas at the Battersea Arts
Centre, London in 2001. The only performance outside London was at the
Edinburgh Festival. It went to the West End in April 2003. It is opening
in San Francisco in early soring before going to Broadway in the autumn.
