State wants special car plates for sex offenders |
CINCINNATI (Reuters) - Lawmakers in Ohio said on Wednesday they want
to force convicted sex offenders to use a fluorescent-green license
plate on their cars so they can be easily identified.

No support or defence of sex offenders, just the idea that if we are
forcing any groups to be publicly be identified like this, why not
identify evangelical/ fundie religious types for instance?
It's not the right thing to do and should never happen in my opinion,
and many have the 20 bumper stickers about jesus and rapture and so on
anyway.
If it is fundies that scream the loudest for this kind of thing, it's
sort of fair turnabout is it not?

But in a state like Ohio there are so many fundies that it would be the
same as changing the official license plate. All others like atheists
would get special plates.

With the number of fundies trying to take over Ohio, it is ironic that
fundie parents injure more children than convicted sex offenders.
