Pope believes Islam incapable of reform?

I see nothing wrong with a religion that's incapable of reform. If tha=
t's
the way they want it, it's none of our business - we believe in freedo=
m of
worship.
But the purpose of the Pope's statement wasn't to throw his hands up -=
if
you read the article, the topic was whether Democracy could flourish i=
n the
Moslem countries.
In order to be "democratic" people have to go with the flow - but the
Muslims will never accept this - so our "experiment" over there is pro=
bably
already doomed.
Pope has no business meddling in other countries internal policy
then turns around and talks about separation of Church and State.
The question is: Who those popes think they can fool?
The pope is a stateman. Let us admit that politic is religion
and religion is politic.
** I agree. Arguing about this with George W. is like trying to argue
with a bush.
