Stupid Christofascists can't name even 10 "commandments" |
When 25 state senators signed a bill to put protections for Ten
Commandment displays in the state constitution, they said they were
doing what voters want.
Yet a survey of 10 of those senators who backed the measure in the
special legislative session that ended Monday found only one, the bill
sponsor, who could name all 10 of the commandments. Three of the
lawmakers surveyed represent Morgan, Limestone and Cullman counties.

Well, look elmerfudd, we know morals when we see them, and we know when we fall
in violation of one. What's this with having a quiz on the Commandments?
You agnostics sure are loss when it comes to a discussion of God.

It looks like a statement of fact to me. Why do
you wear your nickers in such a twist. Afraid of
facts?
PS: I suspect 90% of all christians could not
name more than 5 of their commandments. But then,
most of them probably aren't tuned into the divine
like yourself and may see more gray when it comes
to morals. Black and white to you maybe but
that's more a reflection on you than it is on
morals which, if you'd care to study, have changed
greatly over time.

Yet being a good person carries examples of thousands of "events".
The 10 commandments are general statements like "honor father and mother" or "do
not kill". We know what they are without having to take a test on naming them.

Even more telling that christians can't name them.
And to think, politicians want to revert to laws
that are centered around propositions they can't
articulate.
You pick on a word used (their) because you can't
defend the fact that christians don't know those
commandments and, in fact, weekly bible-study
aside, usually don't even bother to read the bible
from cover to cover.
A lazy bunch, these christians are. Looking
simply for the least amount of effort to expend
that will supposedly get them to their heave
which, oddly enough, they can't even define.
But then,

Yeah! Let's have a quiz.
Which commandment was Jesus refering to,
when he adviced the youngster to go home.
sell his belongings and give the money to the poor?
Think about it

Duke:
Morality.
Peter:
Your were a Catholic aye?
I learned at school that for a time, the bible was put on "the Index"
(a list of books Catholics were not allowed to read).
Maybe they didn't tell you they took it off the list again?
There is no commandment called "morality"
You do not pass into the next round.
