sub-quantum time |
I have recently invented a new time machine. This machine can travel
froward only, and it's range (for a single jump) is less then 1
chronon (the quantum of time). Doesn't seem too useful until you
realize that it has nanochronon resolution. That means it provides
access to any of 999,999,999 points BETWEEN the currently known
moments. I discovered that each of those points is a completely
different. The complimentary offset provides an effective way to
return home.
I also built a robot to explore these universes. It's a type of Von
Neumann replicator, which makes it possible to explore an entire
universe in a few minutes. I've now explored 1,524 universes (and
found no evidence for God in any of them). However, I did find a few
ancient writings that mentioned SC.777 777 700, so I explored that.
There was a strange universe, starting with the fact that thers
seemed to be very little there, just a few little peices of rubble.
This was especially odd, since the other universes all have the same
amount of matter in them. I finally found the missing matter, in the
form of a giant neutronium cross. This was highly radioactive.
I'm making all details of this technology available to rational
people. It's on a hidden website (URL posted at the end of this
message).
Note that for security reasons the information must be protected by a
gengineered picovirus imbedded in the text. This virus will detect
any attempt by a theist to read the vital URL, and react by causing it
to de-actualize.

By "it" you mean the theist, I hope.

That has been known to happen. The virus causes a small amount of
unrestricted intellectual activity, which is harmless to most people.
However, many theists have a defect in one part of the brain, which
usually has no noticable effect, since that part of the brain is
unused by theists. A combination of this defect and the unexpected
intellectual activity can lead to a dangerous amount of regenerative
feedback. This loop becomes so intense, that the mind is no longer
able to maintain the imitation reality, which is the only thing it
knows. Being forced to confront actual reality causes the brain to
cease to exist as a result of excessive unresolvable conflicts.
This risk is considered negligable, since theists of the susceptable
type have been classified as non-sentient, as well as having
negligable value as food animals, and zoos won't take them.
