across the country signed the petition to make their voices
heard -- an incredible accomplishment.
300 million Americans. 25,000 (claimed) to have signed this
petition....That's only like 3-1/2%
or something.
And some of them are not from the US of A.

What a fucking pair.
Also, you have to take into account that the folks who do petitions like
this have 25,000 ready made signatures readily at hand who would sign
almost anything that had a left-wing slant. Anything. They would sign a
petition that to remove secret conservative spying telescopes from a
secret moon base if they were asked to.
